On 4 June UQ through its Sustainable Minerals Institute (SMi) and the Geological Survey of Queensland co-hosted an online workshop focusing on magnetotellurics in mineral exploration. The magnetotelluric method is gaining prominence as a tool for deep exploration in the Australian minerals industry. This seminar provides an overview of the techniques’ use in exploration and presents two case studies. One case study at a regional scale, and the second one at an exploration targeting scale.
