On 18 June UQ through its Sustainable Minerals Institute (SMi) and the Geological Survey of Queensland co-hosted an online workshop bringing together geophysicists with diverse skills and backgrounds. This webinar aims to present new data and new perspectives on old datasets, with a special focus on implications for mineral exploration. Though largely focused on datasets from the NW Minerals Province, Queensland, the concepts and methods may be applied in any mineralised terrain.
Jim Austin – IOCG Geophysics, Petrophysics, Geochemistry and Mineralogy
Yuseyn LeyCooper, Sebastian Wong – World’s largest AEM survey
Andrea Viezzoli – AIP Effects in AEM
Matt Greenwood, Courteney Dhnaram – Quamby mineral potential
George Ross – Landsborough Graben Passive Seismic
