As of 23 July the Georesources Tenure Performance Dashboard has been published online and can be now accessed through the Business Queensland website from a variety of locations.

The Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy (DNRME) has develop a Tenure Performance Dashboard. The aim of the Dashboard is to provide the resources sector and other interested stakeholders with information and data around timeframes associated with the tenure assessment and approval processes. This is to provide industry with greater transparency around tenure decision making timeframes and a drive for continuous improvement of DNRME business processes. The dashboard is a commitment under the Resource authority regulatory efficiency and duplication initiative that was released in October 2019.

The dashboard is made up of a landing page with explanatory material and four distinct results pages. These are:

(1) Task level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) – key KPIs for specific actions for which the department is responsible in the broader tenure assessment process;
(2) End to End Process durations – metrics around end-to-end processing time taken to complete grants;
(3) Tasks on hand (workflow pipeline) – reflects the workload coming into the department and the ability of the department to process the workload; and
(4) Tender time frames – reflects timeframes from close of tender to announcement of preferred tender.

As with all statistical representations, care should be taken in interpreting these figures.
