To a free seminar on land access, negotiation and compensation, and dispute resolution relating to resources exploration and mining activities.

The Resource Community Info Sessions are hosted by the Department of Natural Resources Mines and Energy featuring guest speakers from other departments and independent organisations. The purpose of the sessions is to support better working relationships between communities, resource exploration and mining companies.

  • Where to go for help negotiating a fair arrangement and compensation
  • How you can resolve disputes without unnecessary cost or stress
  • The laws that govern exploration and mining activities in Queensland.

Presentations will be followed by a question and answer session, and the opportunity for an informal chat over a cuppa with the speakers.
