The International Mining and Resources Conference is Australia’s largest mining event. Bringing together over 6,000 decision makers, mining leaders, policy makers, investors, commodity buyers, technical experts, innovators and educators from over 90 countries for four days of learning, deal-making and unparalleled networking.
The free to attend exhibition will feature over 200 leading companies showcasing the latest innovations, technology and services the industry has on offer, including some of the biggest names in the industry such as Caterpillar, Scania, Komatsu, HATCH, Mercedez Benz, Thiess and Sandvik to name a few.
This year’s event will see the return of Innovation Alley and the popular Mining Hub, giving investors an opportunity to meet key junior miners and talk with them one-on-one about their projects. The exhibition floor will also put on a display of leading miners, technologies and innovations from regions around the world within the International Pavilion. In addition to the Collaboration Arena, an open air theatre featuring a schedule of complimentary seminars

The International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) will also hold one of its bi-annual Council meetings to coincide with this year’s International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC), bringing the CEO’s of 27 of the world’s leading mining and metals companies to Melbourne in 2018. Andrew Mackenzie, CEO of BHP (one of the founding members of ICMM) made the announcement at the 100th Melbourne Mining Club luncheon.
